Obsah: 1. Bond is sent on a mission to retrieve an artifact of strategic importance, as M appoints a new 00-agent at the insistence of the Prime Minister. (16 min.)
2. Bond heads to the casino where he finds blackjack, an Aussie beauty and more than be bargained for, as Hollier and Amittai get in a bidding war over a second mysterious statue. (14 min.)
3. Bond goes to retrieve the second statue and Hollier finds more than she bargained for in Amittai’s suite. A trap is sprung, and 007 and 005 are cornered on the fifth floor of a casino with no way out! (12 min.)
4. Amittai and her underlings plan for her black market weapons auction, as MI6 plots their next move. Bond puts the pieces together and suspects corruption from within. Is someone at MI6 a double agent? (9 min.)
5. The mole leaking sensitive information from within MI6 is discovered, as a secret conversation between the Prime Minister and Amittai gives Bond just the information he needs. (9 min.)
6. 007 and 005 head to Sydney to disrupt Amittai’s black-market weapons auction. The Prime Minister must answer for his actions, and just who is Sophie Seaugud really working for? 11 min.)
7. In the climactic conclusion, Bond travels to France for a final confrontation with Amittai. M reveals a surprise concerning Hollier and Laurent’s treasure turns out to be something far more dangerous than previously imagined. (12 min.)

About James Bond : To The End: „James Bond: To The End“ is a feature-length adventure based on the James Bond film franchise. I remember catching „Moonraker“ on television in the ’80s, and it left quite an impression on me. I don’t think it’s exactly the pinnacle of the James Bond movie franchise or anything, but it was my first real exposure to Bond and so it’ll always hold a special place for me.

I’ve always been attracted to the world of espionage and spies. Something about the genre just really grabs my attention. And when he’s at the top of his game, few can do it better than James Bond.

The movies, of course, have been hit or miss. But there’s always some good in all of them. Some moments that are just purely… Bond. And that’s something I’ve very much tried to capture with „To The End“.

Unlike many of Pendant’s other projects, „To The End“ is not ongoing. That is to say, it has a definite end. The project was envisioned (and written) as a „Bond film“. Of course we’re not fortunate enough to actually be shooting this as a movie, but I’ve tried very hard to maintain the general feel and atmosphere of the James Bond movie franchise. I want it to feel like „To The End“ is just another chapter in the saga.

Of course, getting a „James Bond feel“ was an interesting challenge for an audio-only format. To the best of my knowledge it’s not been done before, and so I wasn’t really sure quite how to go about it. I think it’s something of a new concept to Bond fans, too, as they’ve never had to separate the character from visuals before. There’s either the movies, where the visuals are given, or the novels, where the visuals are created in the reader’s head directly from the descriptions written out on the page.

But audio can’t just give written descriptions like a novel; not without a narrator, anyway. And a narrator would certainly break the „Bond feel“ I was striving to attain.

Whether we’ve succeeded or not is for you to decide. But I sincerely hope you enjoy the ride along the way.
